The staging of the performance ‘Bird’ resembles a simple film set; an imitation of an alleyway consisting of a wall and a screen. The wooden wall is dressed with a brick wallpaper and on the screen next to it a cloudy sky is projected, moving slowly. The set is lit to appear mysterious. A trained bird is freed out of a cage and flies into the scenery. After an unpredictable time the bird lands on the floor in front of the two flats and leaves the scene through the gap between wall and screen. The bird crows loudly and the animal wrangler now and again calls for his crow: “Cheryl“.

Die Inszenierung der Performance ‘bird’ gleicht einem einfachen Filmset. Eine Imitation einer Gasse, bestehend aus einer Wand und einer Leinwand. Die Holzwand ist mit einer Backstein-Tapete verkleidet und auf die Leinwand daneben ist ein Wolken behangener Himmel projiziert, welcher sich langsam bewegt. Das Licht lässt das Set mysteriös erscheinen. Ein trainierter Vogel, befreit aus einem Käfig, fliegt in die Szenerie. Nach einer unvorhersehbaren Weile landet der Vogel auf dem Boden vor den zwei Flächen und verlässt die Szene durch den Spalt zwischen Wand und Leinwand. Der Vogel kräht laut und der Tiertrainer ruft hin und wieder den Namen der Krähe: ‘Cheryl’.
